Explore the art of glass on glass mosaic. You will design a mosaic using a variety of colorful glass. Learn glass cutting techniques, proper adhesive use, and grouting.
INTERGENERATIONAL CLASS: Paint a Fall Landscape with Mike & Janette McColl
Learn to use glue and watercolors to paint a seasonal landscape painting. You’ll be guided through this simple process. No experience necessary! We will also put a mat on your project, giving it a finished and polished look.

INTERGENERATIONAL CLASS: Painting with Ivy Bailie
Join us for the 1st of five Intergenerational Classes being hosted at Firefly. Ivy Bailie will lead this class where you and your intergenerational partner will each paint a Black Cat on a Jack-O-Lantern.

Artists Reception
Meet the artists! Join us in celebrating the work of 10 area artists who so graciously volunteered their time–each painting one of 10 unique 3’ x 10’ canvases that are hanging in the Firefly gallery.


Small Round Basket
Join Ivy Bailie at the Firefly Center to create your own "Small Round Basket." This class is great for those who are new to basket weaving. Participants will need to bring:
Scissor, measuring tape, pencil, flat head screwdriver or awl, several clips or clip-style clothes pins, water container (shoebox tote or ice cream pail), old hand towel, and a spray bottle.

safeTALK Training
This half-day, in-person training teaches individuals ages 15 years and older steps to identify people with suicidal thoughts and connect them to resources for help and support. This training is presented by Monica McConkey from Eyes On The Horizon. Monica is a rural mental health care provider, speaker, trainer, and consultant.
